Glen Tavern Inn Santa Paula, Santa Paula

My stay at the hotel was a delightful experience overall. The rooms were cozy and comfortable, offering a serene atmosphere, although the bathroom was a bit outdated. The service was exceptional, with each employee being quick to assist and always accommodating. The location was convenient, right in downtown Santa Paula, allowing easy access to nearby attractions. The dining experience was enjoyable, although there was a slight delay, and the facilities were well-maintained.

My stay at the hotel was a mix of positives and negatives. The rooms were comfortable, but I had some issues like a broken phone and a poorly functioning shower. The location was convenient being close to the train line but lacking a pool listed on the amenities. The service was up-and-down; although some staff members were extremely nice and helpful, others showed attitude when I requested room fixes. The dining experience was a bit disappointing. Despite these drawbacks, the hotel had its moments of value for money.

The renovation kept the original architecture while adding new world amenities like a huge travertine bathroom with dual head shower and Jacuzzi tub, a wet bar, and a large sectional couch with a flat-screen TV.
